business world.Did interaction with faculty members of, where he participated

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

 

on 17th & 18th April, 2013 VIIT has organised FDP on 17th & 18th April, 2013.

It was well designed for MCA and MBA faculty members. It is specialized

programme which enabled participants to understand recent advancement

in management research and to know the appropriate pedagogy for

nurturing the future Business leaders and Technocrat to face the global

business challenges.

Dr Anupama Rahalkar eminent educationist and corporate trainer gave in depth

knowledge to the participants regarding students mind set and how to do select

the method of teaching more appropriately after analysing the learning

environment of the class. Stress was given on the teachers skills and choice

of pedagogy suitable to the respective classes.

Dr Amod Markale eminent researcher and faculty of Marketing gave in depth

knowledge to the participants regarding research work and how to do the

State Level Event IT & MANAGEMENT BRAINWAVE-13

State Level Event organized for IT &Management students

on 12th March, 2013 125 students participated from various

institutions and VIIT itself. Mr.Dhananjay Jamdar grace the valedictory

function as Chief Guest where he advised students to become “Job giver than

Job seeker” Ad-Mad-Show, Case Study, Business Quiz, Techno Quiz,

Programming Expert, Poster Presenter such competitions were organized.

 

VIIT Alumni Association Meet- 2013

Second Alumni Meet at Magarpatta City Institute of Technology & Management. Hadapsar- Pune

VIIT Alumni Association has organized alumni meet known as “Confluence – 2013” on 19th Jan, 2

013. At Magarpatta Institute of Management & Technology, in presence of Dr. Amol Goje. Director of VIIT and President of VIIT Alumni Association Baramati Mr. Indrajeet Harale did the inauguration of the second alumni meet at that time Mrs. Rohini Gaikwad Secretary, Dr.A.B.Kharpas Treasurer and Mr. Swanand Thorat Convenor .Also other office bearers and alumni had gathered from 2003 to 2012 at this occasion. As per the advice of Dr.Amol Goje, President- VIIT Alumni Association and other fellow members the third Confluence- 2013 is scheduled on 24th August, 2013 at VIIT-Baramati premises Batch of 2012 has taken the lead to arrange the third alumni meet. Alumni, Faculty members and staff members delighted by the cultural performance of present students on this occasion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Faculty Development Programme

 

 

Dr.Roshan Kazi eminent statistician has conducted two days training programme on SPSS use in various Research. He delivered the essential input to the faculty member. Total 28 participants registered for the said programme. It was more statisticians oriented and related Hypothesis and its testing.
 

 

 

 

Prof. Dhananjay Bhavsar conducted the FDP on the topic ASP.NET with MCA faculty members. It was application base sharing and all the faculty members did more learning.

 

 

Prof.Mayank Kothawade conducted FDP on the topic “Research Methodology”. MCA/MBA faculty members learned the approach of Research and skills to select the research topic as well as how to write research article

 

 

Prof.P.N.Mohite in-house faculty conducted FDP on Professionalism & emotional Maturity. The practical aspects were discussed by the trainer by conducting various games. It was participative training programme
