Induction Program for MBA I and MCA I students – 28 September to 08 October 2024
The objectives of induction program were as follows
- To introduce the Current Industry Practices to MBA & MCA students.
- To understand / Learn about importance of Reading.
- To imbibe & to introspect / inspire students for wellbeingness of humanity.
- To understand the importance of sports and health fitness in this corporate world.
In this regard the various activities were organized for the MBA and MCA students between 28 September to 08 October 2024. The details are as follows.
28 Sept 2024
On the first day of the induction event the featured distinguished guests from the industrial and educational sectors, including Mr. Atul Bengiri, Director of Acumen Today Pvt. Ltd., Pune; Mr. Sunny Chabukswar, Founder of Be Perfect Group, Baramati; and Dr. Vishal Kore, Central Training and Placement Officer of Vidya Pratishthan. Each guest provided valuable insights across various sessions aimed at guiding students. Mr. Atul highlighted on Industrial revolutions and presented various cases on Industry 4.0 whereas Mr Sunny elaborated on personality, confidence and some other qualitative aspects of human personality which will help to become successful in corporate world. He emphasized the critical role of self-confidence during job interviews, offering practical tips to help students present themselves effectively. Dr. Vishal Kore concluded the series by discussing available job opportunities for MCA and MBA students. He guided students on the preparations necessary to seize these opportunities, underscoring the importance of proactive career planning.

The Movie Club held a screening of “Chandu Champion” for MCA I and MBA I students. This film, which explores themes of perseverance and friendship, was followed by an engaging discussion where students shared insights on its relevance to their academic journeys.

Dr. Vijay Kakade, Head of the Department of Electronics at VPASC, Baramati, led an interactive session entitled “Vachal tar Vachal,” designed to enhance the reading abilities of MCA and MBA students. Dr. Kakade, a distinguished educator and poet, emphasized the importance of reading for both academic and personal growth. His session included practical strategies to improve reading skills and fostered a deeper appreciation for literature, inspiring students to develop a lifelong passion for reading.

Mr. Baban Shripati Salunkhe, Police Sub-Inspector, Baramati expressed his views on the topic “Role of Youth in Social Development and Transformation”. He shared various live cases related to the Cybercrime and also discussed prevention techniques.

Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology, Baramati and Arthnirmiti (an initiative of Sunil Patodia Welfare Foundation Mumbai) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for carrying out different activities for the benefits of MCA and MBA students. The workshop was also the part of the MoU between VIIT Baramati and Arthnirmiti. For this workshop, from Arthnirmiti, Mr. Prashant Auti, Learning and Development Head, Mr. Keval Ribadiya, Assistant Manager and Mr. Krushna Sarode, Sales manager were present. While delivering the welcome address, Institute’s director Dr. Anand deshmukh explained about the nature of MoU. He also expressed the need of such kind of workshops on financial literacy for today’s generation. While talking on the topic, “Prevent yourself from Financial Frauds”, Mr. Prashant Auti discussed various types of financial frauds and causes of it. Mr. Auti also focused on the preventative measures with the help of which we can prevent ourselves to be the victim of financial frauds. He also explained the importance of money management and financial freedom and the ways to achieve that. While explaining these things, he gave number of examples to the students. At the end of the workshop, Mr. Prashant Auti answered number of questions of the students related to the topic.
08 October 2024
Prof. Dr. Kailas N. Bavale, Coordinator of the Dr. Dhananjayrao Gadgil Center for Sustainable Village Development at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, led a session titled “Search Yourself to Inspire and Grow Yourself.” This session focused on self-reflection and personal growth, encouraging students to explore their thoughts and aspirations. Prof. Bavale shared techniques for self-discovery, such as mindfulness and goal-setting, and highlighted the importance of cultivating a growth mindset. His insights inspired students to take charge of their personal development, preparing them for future professional success.
09 October 2024 – The event started with cricket and volleyball matches of both MCA and MBA students followed by Tug of War.
