• How will I be taught?

Teaching methods vary from subject to subject, but most taught programmes are delivered through lectures, practicals, seminars and tutorials. Lectures are the most formal method of teaching, providing you with the basis for further independent study, in practicals you get a hands on feel of the topics taught in the lectures, whilst seminars and tutorials encourage group discussion. Other teaching methods include language laboratory classes, project work, science and technology practicals, field trips and live project work.
